President Donald Trump claims a White House doctor once told him he was "by far" healthier than former President Barack Obama, per PEOPLE.
Trump made the comment during Tuesday's (December 16) Hanukkah reception at the White House. During the reception, Trump recalled asking former White House physician Ronny Jackson who was the healthiest between him, Obama, and former President Joe Biden.
“Who’s the healthiest of all? Was it Barack Hussein Obama? Was it Sleepy Joe Biden? Or was it Donald Trump?” the president once questioned Jackson, to which he allegedly responded, “Trump was by far the healthiest.”
The 79-year-old president added, “If he didn’t say that I would never have talked to him again … Ronny Jackson, what a great legend.”
Jackson, a retired naval officer, served as the president’s physician during part of Trump’s first term and part of Obama’s second term. While Trump suggested Jackson cared for all three presidents, Biden had a different White House doctor during his presidency.
This is not the first time Jackson has praised Trump’s health.
In August, Jackson told the Daily Beast, “I can tell you unequivocally: President Donald J. Trump is the healthiest president this nation has ever seen."
